Transitioning into Fall!

As the cooler season quickly approaches, I am drawn to the warm smells of pumpkin spice, cinnamon,  the taste of apple cider, the feel of a thick cable-knit sweater, and the sight of the beautiful colors of red and orange from the leaves.

This can easily be translated into fall fashions for the home:
A beautiful thick throw for a favorite chair. . . think Pottery Barn
Pillows for the sofa in a deep brick red, chocolate brown, or pumpkin orange. . . think Pier 1 Imports
Fabulous fall candles from your favorite candle shop ( extra bonus-beautiful colors). . . Ditto Pier 1 Imports
Go ahead and just buy a jug of your favorite apple cider add some cinnamon and you are ready for Fall!
I went to the Fresh Market today and picked up a bag of their wonderful cinnamon scented pine cones and put them in a basket in my foyer, what an amazing scent to come home to!

How do you prepare your home for the fall?
